This is EXCITING

I was recently interviewed by Karen Brown, of the popular YouTube channel Just Get It Done Quilts. I will update when it airs. BUT meanwhile, my book is on her 2023 Gift Guide for Quilters. Yeah!- the only book on her list, by the way. So exciting!

Meanwhile I am busy sewing more blocks together- yes, tumbler blocks! I am preparing a workshop on making tumbler quilts, and need/want to make more samples to show how versatile they are. Photos when I’m done!

I have a LARGE fabric collection -too precious to call it my stash!!- but even I don’t have exactly what I need all the time. Here is one trick I use.. move the slider to see before and after!

I used my intense pencil to add more purple.. a quick swipe with the pencil, followed by a quick brush with water to even out the colour, and then heat pressed with my iron- this dries the block, makes the colour permanent, and is now ready to use.
