SORRY, QuiltCon 2026

My quilt got into QuiltCon- so exciting! BUT I have decided not to go. My quilt has been there for a while, and hopefully someone will post a photo of it hanging in the show. I shipped my quilt from Canada via UPS, and actually had to pay duty on it- on a quilt that will be shipped back to me next month! The duty was almost $100-, but thankfully QuiltCon will pay to ship it back, only charging $10 USD. Hopefully, they will cover the duty too, if there is any owed.

Here is a photo of my quilt..

Now the outer part of this quilt is quite pale, so I worked in Canvy to show what it would look like hanging in a home. This quilt will never be placed on a bed, so this is what it might look like at my home.

Then I tried it on a darker background, and wow, I love it here!

So if you see my quilt at QuiltCon, please send me a photo of it!

Congrats on getting this quilt in, I love it! Great way to use up bits of solid with low volume prints.

Love the colour in the quilt blocks. They are striking with the polka-dot sort of spacing. The low-volume prints give it a softer look. And I love it! Good luck at Quilt Con.
