Accidental Book Author

Have you been following my series on Careers in Quilting? The 12th and final episode is out, and who is the 12th person highlighted? It’s me, the accidental quilt book author. COVID lockdown had me in the basement making quilt after quilt after quilt- all based on the tumbler block. Boring, you think? NO! The quilts I made were so much fun to make, and the tumbler proved to be a useful shape to explore design and colour. Special thanks to Sandy Lindal for quilting most of the quilts, to Bernard for the wonderful photos, and to Brian for letting this project take over the house. Twenty-seven or so quilts later I had a book in my head, and thanks to C&T publishing, it is now in my hands.

On my Sale Items page you can find links to where you can buy the book and also to purchase the templates that I used to make these quilts.

I am now in the promotional stage, which means I will be giving talks, workshops, and going to quilt shows to show my quilts and publicize my book.

This would make a perfect Christmas present for any quilter. Promise!
