Star Obsession!

I thought my obsession with tumbler blocks was a result of being isolated during COVID… maybe not! I now know if I love something I need to play with it, and take a deep dive making lots of variations to see what emerges.

I had already started playing with the lonestar quilt design, inspired by one from one by Annie Bell Pettiway, shown below.

Then I saw some wonderful lonestar quilts by Plains and Pine and I NEEDED to play even more.. . where will this lead? Who know!!

Here is what I have come up with so far.. None of these pieces have been quilted- too busy! The final image in this slideshow are some block ideas I need to make more of to see how I would use them. I am having FUN!!
