Playing with light and dark

I have been playing with Jen Kingwell’s Halo quilt pattern (her version, below).. this is a VERY scrappy quilt!

I have been playing with placement of light and dark fabrics… I’m not sure what the final layout will be, but making these is a lot of fun. Half way through, aiming to make one block a day.. wish me luck!

I’ve seen a lot of versions on Instagram- it was a quilt along in 2020. #haloquiltsewalong2020. I especially like the dark border blocks on this version.. from MaryHueyQuilts
