More Embroidery!

I am SO surprised how much I am enjoying embroidery. I’ve joined an online group, and have already accumulated several projects to work on. My favourite pieces are below.. I purchased the one on the left from Country Clothesline. It is a piece of fabric, placed wrong side up in a hoop. The fabric design shows through, and is meant to act as inspiration for your own embroidery. (I held it up to the window so the design shows through better). The other is a pre-printed design from Dropcloth Samplers by Rebecca Ringquist. This is the second one I have from her- love them!

On another note, today I published my 7th newsletter in my “So You Want a Career in Quilting” series. It is really incredible how people’s love of quilting take them in so many directions. Today’s newsletter is about Laura Henneberry, who, along with her husband, designed a software program called PreQuilt. A great way to decide on colours for your next project!
